Question 33. Is the covenant of grace always administered in the same form?

Answer. The covenant of grace was not always administered in the same form, so the administration in the Old Testament was different from the administration in the New Testament.

The covenant between God and man was expressed in different forms, but the Old Testament covenant was ultimately a promise to Christ, and the New Testament era can be seen as the fulfillment of the covenant because Jesus Christ came to the world as the Messiah. Therefore, the covenant can be seen as being executed in the same form for the coming and fulfillment of Christ.
